Questions, answered

The things operators ask before they switch. Can’t find yours? Our US-based team is a message away.

Getting started

Do I have to switch POS systems?

No. We support all major c-store and truck stop POS platforms — including Verifone, Gilbarco, NCR, and Wayne — and our team works directly with your technicians during setup.

How long does onboarding take?

Most sites go live within days. Our team boards each location, configures pumps and registers with your POS technicians, and coordinates with your accounting team — you keep selling fuel the whole time.

Which platforms and back-offices do you work with?

All major c-store and truck stop POS platforms, plus back-office and fuel systems like DTN and PDI. If you run it, we most likely already integrate with it.

Payments & payouts

How fast are your payouts?

Card payments settle in 2 business days. ACH standard funding settles in 4 business days; fast funding settles in 2. Payout schedules can vary with underwriting, risk, and transaction limits.

What are the differences in card types?

We categorize cards as Standard (typical bank-issued credit cards) and Premium (rewards or signature cards like Chase Sapphire or Amex Platinum). Debit, standard, and business cards each carry their own rate on the Growth plan.

Do you accept fleet, EBT, and gift cards?

Yes. Fleet cards, EBT, and gift cards are accepted inside the store and at the pump, and they settle on the same reconciled statement as your card volume.

Pricing & billing

How does pricing work?

In-store and at-the-pump processing is transparent interchange-plus, priced to your volume — the rate we quote is the rate you keep. Invoice Fuel online payments are a flat monthly price starting at $20, with no per-seat fees.

Is there a contract for retail processing?

We quote transparent interchange-plus rates and earn the business by keeping them. Ask sales about terms for your store count — no teaser rates that jump after six months.

What is surcharging?

Surcharging adds a fee (up to 3.00%) to credit card transactions to cover processing costs. It applies only to credit cards — not debit or ACH — and the maximum may change based on card network rules.

Security & support

Is my payment data secure?

Payments run on PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure with tokenized card data and encryption in transit and at rest. We never store raw card numbers.

Where is your support team?

Our support team is US-based and knows your stores. Call and a real person answers — Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm ET — and we work with your technicians when something needs a hands-on fix.

Effective rate

The bigger the ticket, the lower your effective rate

A flat per-transaction fee gets diluted as the sale gets bigger, so your average ticket size affects your rate as much as what’s quoted. On regulated debit, a $1 sale runs 22.05% effectively; a $50 sale runs 0.49%.
